Program Itinerary of the Exotic Morocco Desert from Marrakech To Chefchaouen

Day 01: Marrakech – Hight Atlas mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley.

The departure for our Exotic Morocco Desert To Chefchaouen will be in the morning after your breakfast. We will start driving along the High Atlas mountains to enjoy the view of its Berber Kasbahs. We’ll include a few stops on the way to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO heritage and the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Once we arrive at the Kasbah, we will go on a guided visit with our driver/guide to explore the beauty and the design of this magical spot. Our lunch will be in a local restaurant at the Kasbah before we continue the drive.
After a while, we will continue our Desert day tour towards the Southeast region passing by Ouarzazate city with a stop in Taourirt Kasbah to admire its panoramic view. Our next departure will be through the Valley of Thousand kasbahs, also known as the Rose Valley. According to your personal choice, we might make a stop at the valley to visit one of the rose products shops, then join the Valley of Dades will to arrive at our accommodation at Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight in our Riad in Dades Gorge.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Desert Dunes includes (Camel trekking – Overnight in luxury Camp).

After breakfast, we will get ready to start another day tour by leaving Dades Gorge on the way to the South East of Morocco. During this Desert tour journey, we will admire the South region with its fabulous kasbahs and mud houses here and there. Our private driver will ensure we take enough time to stop for our lunch break in a local restaurant on the way to the desert.
Our trip continues to the Geology city of Erfoud to visit one of its fossil workshops, then continue to arrive at the sand dunes. We will meet our Camel man and get ready for a Camel trekking experience to the top of Sand dunes. There, we will catch one of the amazing sunsets and return back by camels to our Desert camp for dinner and overnight under the tents. “The Camp is fully prepared”.

Day 3: 4×4 Desert tour includes: (Dunes drive, Nomad family visit, Black people village visit”:

Our 4×4 Off-road desert tour will start after breakfast, along the itinerary of ‘Rally Dakar’. We will visit one of the smallest valleys of the desert “Tissardmin oasis” where we can find fossil quarries still present in the area.
We will continue our drive to visit one of the Nomad families in the sand dunes region and have an idea of how they prefer to live their way of lifestyle. We`ll ensure we visit Kamilia Village which is known as Black people’s village (Originally from African countries and came to settle in Morocco). At this village, we will visit one of their soul music houses and enjoy a fresh glass of tea including lunch in a local restaurant. After a while, we will drive back to our hotel.
According to the time, we might drive for a visit to one of the Henna workshops to get a designed tattoo of Henna in our hands and back to our hotel for overnight in the rooms.

Day 04: Merzouga – Valley of Ziz – Midelt- Ifrane – Fez

The 4-th day of our Exotic Morocco Desert To Chefchaouen will start with an early wake-up to catch the sunrise scenery. After breakfast, we will get ready for another travel day tour to Fes. Our driver will ensure everyone is ready before departure. We will drive along the desert field and Volcanic mountains on the way to Fes.
During our drive, we will cross the Palm Grove of Ziz including a stop at one of its panoramic spots to enjoy the view of this thousand Palm trees.
Our day continues towards the Middle Atlas mountains passing by the Azrou forest to see the monkeys and feed them. Afterward, we will continue to Fes passing by Ifrane city which is known as “The Switzerland of Morocco” of its European buildings.
Once we get to Fes, we will check-in for our hotel/riad rooms including dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Fes Guided visit “Medina of Fez” :

After we have breakfast, we will meet our local guide and go for a Fes guided visit to explore the most popular places of Fes Medina such as “Royal Place, Jamma El Karraouin, and the Jewish Quarter”. Afterward, we will visit the leather workshops which is a touristic place for leather products lovers. Our guide will accompany us to a local restaurant for lunch, then drive back to our accommodation for rest. Dinner and overnight included.

Day 6: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes – Ouazzan – Chefchaouen:

After a traditional breakfast, you will begin the journey by traveling toward Meknes. Before that, you will have the full time to discover “Volubilis”, Walili in the Arabic language. Here you go for an hour guided tour through this attractive roman city or what we call the ruins of Volubilis, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997.
Next, when we arrive in Meknes, where you will visit the main historical monuments of this city, starting with the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then you will go to the granaries, which were built in the 1600s. They were ingeniously designed, massive walls and a system of underflow water channels kept the temperatures cool and air circulating. He didn’t store food for humans, but grain and hay to feed his 15,000 horses.
Next, you will stop as well to get pictures of the Bab Al Mansour – the Great Gate, which was built in the 11th century. Meknes has been greatly impacted by the Moorish-style building. It is now the fifth-largest city of the kingdom since it has a good economy based mainly on agriculture, olives, and wine. You will have lunch here in Meknes. Then we will drive towards Chefchaouen.

Day 7: Chefchaouen – Casablanca:

You will start the day by exploring Medina. Chefchaouen (Blue City) is a beautiful unique city with its white-washed walls and its blue doors and windows.
Unlike many parts of Morocco, Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain. Therefore there is much influence of the Spanish civilization and architecture.
You have the opportunity to meet locals and walk in this beautiful Medina. Then travel toward Casablanca, where you will see the biggest mosque in Africa

Day 7: Chefchaouen – Airport:

Transfer to Casablanca Airport
