Program Itinerary of the Casablanca to Marrakech 6 days desert tour

Day 01: Casablanca – Rabat – Volubilis – Fes:

The departure for our “6 days desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech” will be at 8:00 AM. We will be traveling from your hotel in Casablanca towards Rabat “The Capital of Morocco”. we’ll meet our local guide who will take us on a walking visit to Hassan tower including a visit to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Afterward, we will the Oudaya and Shalla Kasbah including a lunch meal in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will be traveling towards the Roman ruins of Volubilis, “A Roman city located near Meknes”. We then go for a walking visit to discover the Roman monuments, then drive to Fes for our first overnight in the old Medina Riad.

Day 02: Fes “Guided Visit”:

After we have breakfast, we will meet our local guide and go for a Fes guided visit to explore the most popular places of Fes Medina such as “Royal Place, Jamma El Karraouin, and the Jewish Quarter”. Afterward, we will visit the leather workshops which is a touristic place for leather products lovers. Our guide will accompany us to a local restaurant for lunch, then drive back to our accommodation for rest. Dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou forest – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga desert dunes:

The 3-rd day of our “6 days desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech” will start with a Moroccan breakfast, then depart towards the Middle Atlas. Passing by a European city of Ifrane, known as Switzerland of Morocco. Our first stop will be at Azrou Cedar forest. While we are in the forest, we will see and feed the monkeys and take photos, then continue towards the Middle Atlas mountains. On our way, we will enjoy the most beautiful views of Moroccan mountains with panoramic heights. Our next stop will be at one of the mountainous villages known as “Zaida”. There, we will enjoy a lunch break.
In the afternoon, we will drive towards the South of Morocco, passing by the panoramic valley of Ziz “A palm grove located in the region of Tafilalet”. Finally, we will arrive at the Sand dunes of Merzouga for an overnight in a local hotel opposite the Sand dunes.

Day 04: Desert 4×4 private excursion including “Camel trekking – Night in Luxury desert camp”:

Today will be our Desert day tour starting with breakfast. We will start our Desert excursion with a drive beside the sand dunes on the way to visit one of the Nomad families. We will be welcomed in their tents and small houses built with mud and rocks and know about their history. Afterward, we will visit the mines of Miffis. These mines are rich in eyeliner and fossils. Our journey continues to Khamlia “A Black people village”. There, we will visit one of their soul music schools to dance and listen to drums and Gnawa music. While we are in the village of Khamlia, we will drive to a local restaurant for a Berber Pizza or couscous lunch… After lunch, we will return to our hotel to get ready for an amazing Camel trekking to the top of Sand dunes. Our camel man will take us into an amazing Camel caravan to see the sunset, then camel trek straight to our Luxury desert camp for a Beduin night in a luxury desert Camp.

Day 05: Merzouga desert dunes – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge:

According to your choice, we might wake up before dawn to catch a shining sunrise over the Sand dunes. After we have breakfast, we will start another day tour by driving from the Desert towards the Palm Grove of Tafilalet. We will arrive at Erfoud for a short visit to one of the Fossil workshops. Then continue toward the Todra Valley and Todra Gorge which stands at an altitude of 300M. We will walk under the Canyons and enjoy the river breeze. Then drive to Dades Valley passing by Imider “The Gate of the South”. At our arrival at the Valley, we stop at one of the natural rock formations “The Monkey Toes”. Discover the most famous area of Dades before driving to our accommodation for dinner and overnight at Dades Gorge.

Day 06: Dades Gorge – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech:

The 6th day of our Casablanca Marrakech desert tour will start after breakfast. We will be driving towards the beautiful views of the Rose Valley, also known as The Valley of thousand Kasbah. According to your choice, we might stop to visit one of the rose products workshops. We then continue towards the city of Ouarzazate to take some photos at the kasbah of Taourirt. A panoramic Kasbah is located in the city center. Then continue to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou “A UNESCO heritage site located in foothills of Ounilla Valley”. At our arrival, we will be going on a guided visit with our Driver/guide to discover the small village which is one of the famous world sites to visit. After our visit, we will take our lunch break at one of the panoramic restaurants in the area. Our “6 days desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech”r will continue towards Marrakech passing by the High Atlas mountains willing to arrive at Marrakech. At our arrival, our driver will accompany us to our location where our trip comes to the end.
