Program Itinerary of the Casablanca to Marrakech 5 days desert tour

Day 01: Casablanca – Rabat – Volubilis – Fes:

Our “5 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech” departure will be in the morning after breakfast. We will get ready to have an amazing day with our driver who will come to meet us in our accommodation in Casablanca. We then drive towards the Capital of Morocco “Rabat”. Once we arrive, we’ll meet our local guide who will take us on a walking visit to Hassan tower including a visit to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, then to Kasbah of Oudaya. Afterward, we will drive towards the Roman Ruins of Volubilis near the city of Meknes. Our first-day tour will be complete with a drive to Fez Medina where we will check-in for our riad. Dinner and overnight in a Moroccan riad in the heart of Fez Medina.

Day 02: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Forest – Middle Atlas Mountains – Ziz Palm Grove – Desert dunes:

After breakfast, we depart from Fes towards the city of Ifrane “The Switzerland of Morocco”, which includes a stop in the Azrou Cedar forest. During our stop at the forest, we will see and have fun with the monkeys, then continue our journey towards the Middle Atlas. A chain of mountains that crosses Morocco in the Middle. Our next stop will be at one of the mountainous villages for our lunch break.
After lunch, we will continue driving towards the Desert region of Merzouga. On our way, we will make a stop at one of the famous panoramic spots of Ziz Valley “A Palm Grove of Tafilalet”. We will ensure we take a few photos and then continue towards the desert dunes. At our arrival, we will check-in for our rooms in a Desert riad with dinner and overnight included.

Day 03: Desert 4×4 excursion “Off-road drive – Nomad visit – Camel trekking and overnight in Luxury Desert camp:

In the 3rd day of our “5 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech”, we will get ready for our 4×4 Off-road desert tour. Driving along the itinerary of ‘Rally Dakar’. Starting with a visit to one of the smallest valleys of the desert “Tissardmin Oasis”, where we can find fossil quarries still present in the area. We will continue our way to visit one of the Nomad families in the sand dunes region and have an idea of how they prefer to live their way of lifestyle. We`ll ensure we visit Kamilia Village which is known as Black people’s village (Originally from African countries and came to settle in Morocco). At this village, we will visit one of their soul music houses and enjoy a fresh glass of tea including a lunch in a local restaurant. After a while, we will drive back to our hotel to get ready for our Camel trekking experience. the Camel caravan will be guided to the top of Sand dunes by our Camel man. There, we will catch an amazing sunset view. Afterward, we will camel trek back to our Luxury desert camp for our evening party and overnight under the tents.

Day 04: Desert dunes – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Dades Gorge:

Up to your choice, we might wake up earlier to see an amazing sunrise over the sand dunes. After a while, we will have breakfast and start a new day of our “ 5 days Casablanca Marrakech desert tour”. We will drive along the desert dunes towards the Palm groves of Sijilmassa passing by Rissani and Erfoud. During our way, we will enjoy the view of a few Berber Villages. We then include a few stops before we arrive at the Valley of Todra with its 300 meters altitude canyons. Once we arrive, we will walk under the canyons and wander into their natural form. After a while, we will continue driving towards Dades Gorge, passing by Imider and the gates of the High Atlas. At our arrival, we will visit Dades Gorge, then return to our accommodation in Dades Valley for the overnight in our riad.

Day 05: Dades Gorge – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – High Atlas – Marrakech:

Our last day tour will start with a morning breakfast in our riad, then get ready for an amazing adventure. We will drive along the Valley of Dades to join the Rose Valley “A Valley of thousand Kasbah”. (up to your choice), we might visit one of the Rose products workshops. Afterward, we will continue towards the city of Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Africa”. We will take a short stop for some photos at the panoramic Kasbah of Taourirt, then continue to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah located on the southern slopes of the High Atlas and the Ounila Valley for a walking visit to discover the kasbah and walk inside its valleys and stairs. We then return for our lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, our tour will continue towards the High Atlas mountains willing to arrive at Marrakech. At our arrival, our driver will drop you at our location. End of our “5 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech”.
