4 days Marrakech Desert Tour to Merzouga

Program Itinerary of the 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Dades Canyons:

After a delicious breakfast, we will pick you up at your Riad to start our “4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert’’, we will leave Marrakech towards the Dades Valley via Tizi-n-Tichka at 2,260m. We will enjoy the scenery of the Atla Mountains and continue our way to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou through the Berber villages. We will reach the village of Ait Ben Haddou to visit its Kasbah and have lunch there. Then, we will head to the palm grove of Skoura passing through the city of Ouarzazate. There, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and head to the Valley of Roses passing through other Berber villages. After visiting the Valley of Roses, we will drive to Dades Vally in the town of Boumalne. Overnight and dinner at the hotel in the Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Camel trekking at Erg Chebbi “Merzouga – Night in Berber Tents”:

After breakfast at the Riad, we will transfer to the Todra Gorges in the city of Tinghir. There we will have free time to explore and stroll through the Todra Gorges. Then we will leave for Merzouga via Tinjdad, the town of Erfoud that has famous fossils, and local dates. We will then stop in Rissani, known as the capital of the Tafilalet region. From there, we will continue our way to the desert dunes of Merzouga. There, we will start the camel ride to our camp in the middle dunes of Erg Chebbi. And enjoy the sunset and mint tea, including dinner and music. Overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – N’kob – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate:

Early in the morning, you will enjoy the sunrise and have breakfast. Then, we will return to the hotel and depart to Rissani to visit its market. Afterward, we will drive through other sights of the desert and the Bougafer Mountains. Lunch will be in the village of N’Kob before visiting the Draa Valley and some Kasbahs and oasis. We will then end this day in the city of Ouarzazate and have free time. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel there.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Cinema studio – the High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:

After breakfast, We will visit the Cinema studio in Ouarzazate, which gives the city a tourist history. Then, continue to Marrakech via the High Atlas mountains. Upon arrival at the red city of Marrakech, we will accompany you to your accommodation where our “4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert’’ comes to the end.
