Program Itinerary of the 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert

Day 01: Marrakech – Hight Atlas mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

According to the trip departure time, we will start our “ 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert” by driving through the High Atlas mountains at an altitude of 2600 Metres. Our day tour will include a few stops on the way to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, also known as one of the UNESCO heritage and the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Once we arrive, we will discover its building’s traditional beauty and walk in its tight alleys. We will also have lunch at the Kasbah before we continue our day tour to the city of Ouarzazate.
At Ouarzazate, we might make a stop to visit the “Cinema Studio”. Afterward, we will drive to cross the Rose valley of Kalaat Mgouna with its amazing thousand kasbahs on the roadsides. This area is rich in roses products. Our destination will be our accommodation in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight in our Riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Desert Dunes includes (Camel trekking – Overnight in luxury Camp):

After breakfast, we will start our desert tour with a drive along Dades Valley to stop at one of the rock formations known as “Monkey Toes”. This rock formation is a great nature miracle to the Valley which makes it an interesting spot for visitors. Our desert tour continues towards Todra Valley with a visit to Todra Gorge. After a while, we will drive to the Desert dunes passing by a couple of Berber villages and small kasbahs of the Southeast of Morocco. We will drive beside the sand dunes. At our arrival to the desert, we will get ready for an amazing experience of Camel trekking to experience an amazing Beduin travel style in a short Camel excursion to the top of Sand dunes. There, we will catch an amazing sunset view and Camel trek back to our Luxury desert camp for dinner and overnight under the tents

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech:

Our 3rd desert tour day will start with a drive towards the city of Rissani “An economic spot of the Southeast region”. We will join the road to Draa Valley with its great Palm Grove. On the way back to Marrakech, we will ensure we enjoy our last desert tour day by visiting Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and crossing the High Atlas mountains. Upon our arrival in Marrakech. We will accompany you to your accommodation where our “ 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert” comes to the end.
